New KORN Song To Receive World Premiere At Ultimate Fighting Championship Event
September 26, 2003Fight fans will be able to hear the exclusive premiere of the new KORN track "Let's Do This Now" during "UFC 44: Undisputed", Friday, September 26 on pay-per-view. This cut is off the much anticipated release of KORN's newest CD "Take A Look In The Mirror", due out November 18 on Epic Records.
"Let's Do This Now" will pump from the speakers as Tito Ortiz enters the Octagon to face Randy Couture. This main event will feature the return of Light Heavyweight Champion Ortiz in what will be a "Champion vs. Champion" match against interim Light Heavyweight title holder Couture. "UFC 44: Undisputed" promises to be one of the most historic showdowns in fight history.
"I have been a huge fan of KORN since 1994," says Ortiz. "I want to thank Jonathan Davis, Fieldy, James 'Munky' Shaffer, Brian 'Head' Welch and especially David Silveria for allowing me to use 'Let's Do This Now' as my entrance song. I think they'll be impressed when they see what I do to Randy Couture. It's going to be the soundtrack to a beating."
"Take A Look In The Mirror", brash and ultra-heavy, is the band's sixth — and first self-produced — album. Of the new album Silveria says, "It's going back to our roots. More riff-based heavier rock, and so it's straightforward and less layered."
